With the secret weapon (by Arthur Frolov).

I beg to excuse my bad English and I try to explain everything with chess if I can not say with words.

This article dedicated to the most professional part of chess game, I can call this part as "paradoxical theoretical novelties". This type of research is the most powerful of chess fight, the opponent who just analyzed the position also before the game and thought that he has good chances (he was sure of some evident things) and the situation changes momentary, he (the opponent) have to fight in the absolutely new conditions, sometimes with strange material and against new ideas. Very unpleasant in real chess game with usual 6th hours time control. At this article I will try to show some real episodes from my games with "paradoxical theoretical novelties", I had this type of situations a lot during my 20 years chess life.

Episode one. Sakaev-Frolov

1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Nf3 0-0 6.Be2 e5 7.0-0 Nc6 8.d5 Ne7 9.Nd2 a5

One of the most useful positions at King Indian.

10.a3 Nd7 11.Rb1 f5 12.b4 Kh8 13.f3 f4 14.Qc2

Possibly that all previous moves are best for black and this position can be called as "tabia" of this variant.

14...b6 15.Nb5 g5

This moment is the most interesting in this game. The position at diagram had been analyzed several times by both opponents, I spent more then 50 hours with this position and I did my last move 15...g5 with light nervous because understood that 16.c5 is absolutely clear and I had the reply, real reply. A lot of chessplayers researched this position but the only had understood it correctly, that was me.

16.c5 bc5 17.bc5 dc5 !

That is the first of moves to victory. Everybody knows that after 17...Nc5 18.a4 whites have an advantage. Now after 17...dc5 it looks very unpleasant threat of 18...c7-c6, that is why Sakaev moved

18.Nc3 Nf6! 19.Nc4

It seems that the situation is as minimum unclear, but

19...g4!

That is the moment of truth, so Blacks start to attack the opponent king. Of course, all this play is home novelty of Black, but realy not for his opponent. That is why the game is so short. Whites can fight with 20.fg4 Ng4 and live long but very bad life.

20.Ne5 g3 21.h3

Find a winning move!

21...Ne8 !

Paradoxical, only but so suitable move.

22.Ng4 h5

And blacks win.
